John Silk was the eight child of Jessie Wilson and Henry Silk. He was born in 1873 and died in Dubbo in 1927. John married Florence Dunsmore in 1904.
John later changed his name to Reynolds after his mother married Charles Reynolds. He and Florence had five children.

2. Alfred 1906 - 1986. Married twice. Had three children.
3. Noel Henry John 1910 - 1974. Married Edith FitzPatrick. They had eight children.
4. Irene 1911 - 1989. Married Eric McDonald. They had five children.
5. Thomas Maurice 1915 - 1989. Married Emily Nicholls.
