John Davis was the fourth child of Elizabeth Wilson and George Davis. He was born in Kurrajong, NSW in 1846 and died in Cargo, NSW in 1921. John married his cousin Sarah Wilson (daughter of Simeon Wilson and Elizabeth Horan).
John and Sarah had twelve children.

8. Undine 1885 - 1966 married Stephen Fleidner
9. Walter Ernest 1887 - 1955 married Elizabeth Baker
10. Reuben 1889 - 1948 married Ruby Price
11. Alfred 1891 - 1977 married Gladys Sherwood
12. Eva Jane 1893 - 1977 married Arthur Worboys
