Joseph Hurst 1861 to 1944 married Alice Overton

Joseph Hurst was the eleventh child of Elizabeth Barwick and Samuel Hurst Senior. He was born in Kurrajong in 1861 and died there in 1944. Joseph married Alice Jean Overton in 1884. They lived in Mill Road Kurrajong and had ten children.

1. Eva 1884 - 1973. Married Alfred Bottles. They had four children.

2. Archie John 1886 - 1965. Married Ada Davis. They had five children.

3. Hannah Minnie 1888 - 1946. Married Oswald London. They had three children.

4. Emily Jane 1891 - 1971. Married Edward Wilson. They had one child.

5. Frederick James 1893 - 1958. Married Elvie Bottle. They had at least one child.

6. Mabel 1896 - 1961. Married Arthur Tierney. 

7. Ernest William 1898 - 1964. Married Mary Jane Wilson. 

8. Oswald 1902 - 1978

9. Hilton Joseph 1904 - 1972.

10. Stanley Raymond 1907 - 1966. Married Muriel Johnson.
