Charlotte Jaffray was the first child of
Henrietta Barwick and
George Jaffray. She was born in Kurrajong in 1869 and died in Richmond in 1906. Charlotte married
Alfred Smith in 1889 and they had four children. Charlotte suffered from typhoid in 1905 and it appears that it lingered for nearly a year. She died from it in 1906 at the age of 37. Her obituary can be read
